Leaping Deer Ranch | Summer 2024
In June of 2024, I moved from downtown Manhattan to the New Mexico desert, seeking a coming-home to nature. I joined the Leaping Deer Ranch crew as a Yoga Instructor, and found quick family in the Ranch staff, my clients, and the Rocky Mountain foothills.
Here, I teach three distinct yoga classes — Slow Flow Yoga, Hot Yoga, and Outdoor Yoga — each offered multiple times a week, with varied flows. Every class fosters joy in movement through mindful guidance, accommodating all body types and abilities.
I work with groups, and often 1:1, with clients in the 60-70 age range, working through physical restrictions with open hearts.
This environment has infused my teaching practice with a deeper understanding of thoughtfully curating flows to individual bodies and minds, and how to create safe places for clients to feel, and be, seen.

Moore Therapy & Wellness | Summer 2024
In tandem with my Leaping Deer Ranch teaching, I host weekly Saturday morning yoga classes at Moore Therapy & Wellness, a therapy center for women, by women.
My Moore sessions are centered around choice, gentle movements, and weaving the emotional into the physical.
Through a trauma-informed movement approach, I aim to create a weekly space for women re-claim their relationship with their bodies and minds, often through conversation breaks, sharing, and happy baby pose belly-laughter.
As a friend of mine once said, I'm not a healer, I create spaces for people to find their own healing.

NYC Community Classes | Winter + Spring 2024
While working my Photographer job at a lively, women-run swimwear company in Manhattan's Flatiron District, I spent my off-hours planning and hosting community yoga classes to give young and curious yogis the option to practice affordably.
My Brooklyn classes were fiery and feral.
Sweaty flows in a dark room. Peaks and valleys in movement synced with music that moves you — Think rising into Goddess Squat while Orange Sunrise by MONKYMAN helps you get there.
Wonderful folks showed up, week after week, with an emotional generosity that filled me to the brim. I can still feel the energy flowing.

Ionia Correctional Facility | Fall 2018 - Winter 2020
Admittedly, this experience still stands as the greatest thing I've ever done.
While working towards my RYT-200 certification at Yoga State in East Lansing, MI, I found mentorship in an unsuspected space.
Every Monday, for about two years, I volunteered at an all-male prison alongside Michigan State University professor, Guillermo Delgado.
We brought a warm, lighthearted yoga practice to a group of 25 life-sentenced men.
What was first met with hesitancy and skepticism soon became a space these men craved; an hour of calm, and an hour in which their title of sentenced was stripped away. We laughed, moved, and respected each other, every single Monday.
