After declaring a Photojournalism focus in my Michigan State University Journalism path, I quickly gravitated towards imagery in every realm I could find.
I shot photos of strangers and friends alike; I joined VIM Magazine as a Staff Photographer, and then led the team as Photography Director.
My black-and-white documentary style on display in this collection of photos is a direct result of fine-tuning my eye during these formative years.
Shoutout to my mentor, Judy Walgren, who taught me to look closely, pay attention, and set your aperture to F8 and just be there.
